I'm a shelving novice, well actually a complete DIY novice, but I'm just about to start a project...
I'm aiming to build a shaker peg rail with shelf like the attached pic; that goes round a corner.
My question is how best to approach the corners. The wood that will be fastened to the wall will be cut at 45 degree angles in the corners to create a neat look, but I was initially thinking that the ends of the actual shelf could also be cut to 45 degree angles but now I've bought the wood (18mm ply wood with a shelf width of 130mm), I'm not sure if the shelves will have enough support and that I'll need to leave the main - bigger - shelf at 90 degree angles and lay this onto the vertical piece of wood, that is fastened to the adjacent wall????
