Can you please help, I am doing up my new house and am looking at fitting a mixer type shower but have some questions regarding boilers, pumps etc..

1. Do you need a pump with my current boiler setup (standard boiler - not combi)?
2. If a pump is used how long will it take to empty the tank?
3. Should I replace the boiler with a combi and do away with the pump idea?

We had a combi in our previous house so I was thinking about fitting one again, is it worth it? The current boiler is working fine and supplies us with enough hot water at the moment.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Cheers

You can get showers designed for low pressure or fit a pump an dhigh pressure type at further cost.

But really its better to get advice from your chosen installer who can inspect your installation and measure flow rates.
