Shower hose leaking

Hi,

My shower hose is made of flexible metal covered by a transparent plastic. This plastic has two tiny holes and the water leaks from them with quite some pressure.

What would be the best way to fix this? If I cover the holes I suppose the water pressure will go other way and maybe break the plastic cover in other places.

If I replace the hose I wonder if that would actually fix it. May it be the junctions at the ends that they are leaking that water between the metal hose and the plastic cover?

Thank you very much. I'd appreciate any advice.

Shower hoses have a rubber washer in each end connection so you can check those if you like, however new hoses are available at all the diy sheds for around a tenner.
Choose the type with the larger internal diameter.
John :)

And choose the more flexible type. Some are quite stiff.
