Can anyone offer some advice on fitting a shower mixer bar, I have put a 19mm thick plywood pad between the studwork to fix the mixer to, or so I thought but the amount of thread protruding is only 20mm as shown on the attached pictures, obviously I don’t just want to dangle the mixer on the ends of the 15mm feed pipes.
Guess one can have all the DIY books under the sun, but they never seem to show what you want, so any suggestions would be much appreciated
