Hey when installing a shower waste, do people just put silicone on the top part of the waste. Or on the bottom section with the rubber that sits to the bottom of the tray aswell?
The top seal is the vital one, and if the bottom rubber one is ribbed then thats usually foolproof....but there's nothing to stop you using silicone there too if you want to!
Always check a shower drain for a while if you can after installation- leaks here are the last thing you need!
