I have a 6mm cable with a 32 amp mcb. Wich original supplied the old electric hob. Can I use this cable to connect my single oven ( 3.45kw 16 amp ) and a multifunction oven ( 3.65kw 16 amp ) on the one cable.

@230V, 7.1kW = 31A.

(31 - 10) * 0.3 + 10 = 16.3A.

So yes, fine for a 32A circuit.

The idea is that ovens, hobs, cookers etc don't run flat out all of the time - once up to temperature they cycle on and off.

Thanks. Someone else has sent me a link for a dual cooker outlet connection. Can I use the 45amp cooker isolater that is already there fitted before the old cooker outlet to isolate the both units or will I have to get 2 new isolaters fitted.

No I would like to use the existing isolator. Wich will be before the dual appliance outlet.

Cheers. Thought we were going to have to take up chipboard floors and not to mention laminate. To run new cable back to the meter. Thanks again. Most helpful.
