Hi, i want to put up some slatted shelves in my airing cupboard and would like to know what fitting can i use to fix timber to a plasterboard partition wall.I know it would be better to screw into the studs but is there something i can use that will go through the timber and straight into the plasterboard that will hold it.
The shelves will be holding mainly bedding, towels etc, also when making the actual shelf will some strong glue do the trick? thanks

Idealy fix to the studs otherwise gripfil and screws would probably suffice or better still plasterboard toggle fittings

Just done the same thing myself, I used the plastic plugs for stud walls from B&Q, you simply screw the plug in (it creates it's own hole) then screw the screw into the plug.
