smeg dishwasher error E6

hi, so it seems by previous posts i have E6 error on smeg dishwasher. this means the draining pipes may be blocked, so... are they easy to unblock? any tips on how to set about it? i am a retired hairdresser/housewife, so not to comlicated instuctions please
