Hi, please help...symptoms below:

- The dishwasher has stopped before the end of the cycle.
- Mine has four 'cycle' lights, of which the last two on the right are illuminated (rinsing and drying).
- A couple of inches of water found standing inside / at the bottom.
- The 'salt' indicator is constantly illuminated.

What have I done since the above:
- Cleaned out the filter (wasn't too dirty).
- Filled some salt.
- Checked the drain-out pipe, which seems to be clear.
- On another post I saw some instructions to 'reset' the machine e.g. with 4 x presses of the function button in a space of 3 seconds. The machine did not react.
- I have also followed the instruction manual to end the current program (thinking, this will push the water out), but the machine didn't react to that either.

Does anyone know:
- What is wrong?
- What else I should check?
- How I can fix this myself (assuming special skills / tools are not required).

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Please ask if you have more questions about the problem / symptoms.

In the absence of any suggestions to remedy the problem...

Does anyone know a decent repair engineer,
who charges sensibly,
and covers West London?

Thanks!

Sorry you haven't received support for your issue. I am rarely work with Smeg products myself but as far as I can gather the LED combination you have doesn't look like a valid error code. There are 9 error codes but none seem to involve the rinse & drying LED's together.
If the machine is throwing up an invalid code then the pcb is usually suspect.
