I normally do all my own decorating but due to work load i cannot get the time to redecorate the kitchen,
so i had a local decorator to call earlier and give me a quote, he informed me that he normally uses crown solo gloss paint on all the white woodwork that had previously been painted, so is this solo gloss paint any good or better to stick to undercoat and then gloss?

It goes yellow, yellow and yellow - in no time at all.

One-coat paints are the Devil's choice. Shun them!

Get someone who will do it properly or leave it until you have time to do it yourself.

And for a number of good reasons, forget about using oilbased white paints inside.
