spring bulbs- Latest planting times.

I have some fresh quality tulip bulbs and was wondering if it is OK to plant now for flowering this year. I normally plant them sep/oct time so i know Jan is late but would love to get them in. Advice please? Thankyou

I would have thought the ground is too cold and frosty now,so why not try them in tubs using potting compost.

likely to be too late, but you may be lucky, if not theyre early for next year!

I forgot to do my tulips in November so am putting some in next week.

Down here in the sunny South the ground is not usually frozen.
