spur from a socket for a light

can i run a spur from a socket to wire up two wall lights ? its gonna be a problem running a spur from the lighting circuit. Well more of an inconvenience

so long as the socket is on a ring and there is nothing else connected to the socket, and you use a fused spur then yes.
