Hi, first post so be gentle!

I'm needing to renovate some stone work on my house and wondered if anyone has ever used a 'needle gun'? I'm told that this will get the old paintwork off the stone and take me back to the original base?

Cheers for any help.

yes i have used one paul and it did a good job. you dont need to applya lot of pressure when using it. i had some paint on some face brickwork and i used a needle gun very gently to remove it as paint had soaked into thr brickwork

Paul,
I use to work in plant hire but I am by no means extremely knowledgeable, however we use to hire the hilti te104 with needle attachment for exactly the job you want to do, I have also seen it used to distress new concrete on steps, it's extremely light to use and providing the needles are in good nick then the perfect tool. brandon tool hire done an alternative which used an abrasive pad

from a personal choice I would use your local hire shop providing it's not HSS (in my opinion too expensive), or Speedy (they bought the company I was extremely happy at, I walked within 4 weeks)
