Hi,
We were asked to check which Gas meter was ours British Gas and as well as the gas at the hob, we turned the Central Heating on/off a number of times in quick succession (3-5 times during a time of 6-10minutes).
Since then, when the CH starts, we get a loud bubbling/banging noise that seems to originate from the boiler and then through the rads. If I turn the HW on, the noise dies down.
Eventually as the system heats up the loud bubbling/banging noise dies down and then we just hear a noise that sounds like bubbling/water filling up coming from the boiler.
Bled the radiators but only a little bit of air came out from one of the rads.
The pressure when cold is above 1 and once the CH starts it hovers around 1.5. I've noticed that when the bubbling noise happens, the pressure needle wobbles around.
If it is trapped air inside the boiler, will it settle after a few days?
We have Worcester 24i RSF Combi. It was serviced just 2 weeks ago, and we haven't had any complaints with it until the other night.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
KR
