I have a Potterton Suprima 60 and a Boilermate II FE220R.
From time to time the water pressure (both hot and cold) will start to drop rapidly as if draining the tank, eventually to a trickle. This is as if the boiler is not firing on demand. If I turn up the temp setting on the boilermate to max winter setting and wait for up to a couple of hours the pressure returns - seems to depend on how much water I've used before noticing the pressure drop.
This first happened after a power cut, but now seems to happen without reason - this is the second day in a row without a morning shower!!!
As I have very little understanding of this type of system, any ideas of the cause and remedy?
Thanks in advance.
