just moved into a new house need to wire a supply to a heating control in my kitchen. it was on plug top into a double socket.

Could I spur off that double socket and take a feed to the controller or does it need its own supply from the board?

Thanks guys!

What heating will be controlled, and what is the controller.

You could spur off the socket but you'll need an FCU fused at whatever the connecting cable, controller and heating stuff requires.

Its a honeywell 2 channel programmer, not sure what model!? Its controling hot water and heating.

I also noticed that theirs 2 x 0.75 (I think) flex coming from the controller into a JB then 2 x 2.5 flex running to the actual boiler! Is this ok? Or should it all be ran in the same size flex??

There must be a single isolating point for the boiler.

It must be double pole with a minimum of 3mm gap between the contacts.
You'll need an FCU with a 3amp fuse.
Thats the norm for domestic heating systems.
