Hello group, doing a bit of decorating in our new home and the wife has knocked one of the IR sensors situated in our hallway, it set the Optima XL6 house alarm off, we reset the system but there is a tamper light lit, pressing any of the buttons on the keypad doesn’t make any difference. The keys don’t tone when pressed as they did, can anyone advise how to rectify the problem.
Kind regards Dennis

I think I've sorted it, the detector housing was slightly apart, there must be a sensor within the housing.
Panic over....for now

always good idea to retrace your steps when an action causes a fault

glad its sorted.

Definitely one to remember - if you can't reset a fault, make sure that the fault condition has gone! ;)
