Thanks Matt, very helpful, hopefully now it should be ok, have a tank full of hot water now, just need a capacitor to sort out the stray voltage, not always a problem but can cause heating to run without any call for it.

This only effects some boilers, if yours isn't effected then you don't need to do the mod

Yes my boiler [Greenstar si ] is affected, it sometimes runs when H/W and C/H are off at the controller.
