Forgive the dumb question.
I've got an ancient metal bath and I want to replace the individual hot and cold taps with mixer shower taps.
I ran a tape measure on to work out how far apart the pipes to the taps on the new mixer need to be to slot right in and I reckon they're about 185mm apart. I measure the sink and they seem about the same. As luck would have it all the mixer taps in B&Q seemed to have the same (approx 185mm) distance between hot and cold.
So the question is: Is there some standard agreed gap between hot and cold taps that works out about 185mm?
I hope so, I can just slot the new tap in.
TIA
