I have a problem with both my hot taps - I have had them to bits a few times as they seem to jam up but taking them to bits (like noted in the 'How to' section) and putting the back together again seems to work at first... but only for a while.
Is it possible that the bottom washer on the tap assembly is not thick enough to stop the bottom part of the assembly from coming out too far when you turn it off - thus allowing the little bolt part to come out of alignment with its 'grooves' and thus it jamms when you turn it on (becuse the little bolt is no longer in the correct possition)?
Would a thicker washer on the bottom part of the assembly stop it going too far and solve the problem?
Thanks.
