hi

In the process of installing a texecom 48 panel

I have wired the window shock sensors as "double pole" using a separate
tamper circuit (2 X closed loop - 4 wires & power)

here comes the prob.
i have Texecom Prestige AMDT PIRs from reading the manual i believe it should only be hooked up using T/EOL (triple EOL alarm, tamper & mask)

trying to get my head around this...am i correct.....and would it be best practice using a fully supervised loop, (2 wires & power)
Power OV & 12V as per normal, then only one pair of cores to the T-EOL (two terminals on pir) i have each pir on a separate zone so when programming i can chose the T/EOL option

or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Yep, program the zone as a T-EOL, and just take a four core to each PIR.

Use one pair for power as normal, and the other pair for the zone.

The AMDT has the tamper, alarm and mask resistors built in, and will signal each state to the panel on the zone wiring.

You can also fit resistors in your door contacts to allow you to use two wires if you wish.

Thanks very much for that info, hopefully i'll be able to sort it out now :D

tks again
