I have just upgraded my Elite 24 metal to v4 and installed the Smartcom and got the mobile app all running. However my home automation system that used to connect via the ComIP cannot connect via the SmartCom IP address and port. I am guessing that it doesnt allow other connections. I had read before I bought it that it came with a device to give an additional COM Port to allow another device to be fitted, but that appears to only work on 48 and above.
Is there a way I can add an extra COM port through another extender / device, or if I want both do I need to upgrade to the 48?
If so, is that a whole panel/metal box upgrade, or can you just upgrade the board?
