Re my Worcester-Bosch question, I replaced expansion vessel and all seems fine. Thanks to those who responded. Another question I need help with. My mother has a Thorn M gas boiler and the programmer clock has started a go slow taking about 25 hours to get round. Any ideas gratefully received.It's an old boiler with clock under transparent lift up cover front top of boiler with 4 tappets for on/off.

Its common 4 that type of clock to go slow due to the heat of the boiler. It can be made redundant. U can either mount one over the top of the old one or remote fix one on the wall. Not difficult once u have nominated the wires behind the facia pannel.
