This is the laser light show called Global Rainbow which is on display in Whitley Bay from tonight until Sunday. The installation was designed by American artist Yvette Mattern.

The cost of the project, estimated at £50,000, is being met in the North East by Arts Council England and North Tyneside Council, supported by laser company Lightwave International.

We've got no money though!
