Tiling a Wooden Floor

Hi all,

I am going to tile my bathroom floor. I am going to use 12mm WBP plywood and screw down over the existing floorboards.

Due to the size of the room there will be a join, does the join have to fall over one of the floor joists or can it be anywhere?
