Have been using the M12 compact driver for quite a long time. It lives in the Stanley Fatmax shoulder bag and backed up by three additional batteries. Need to charge these cells is like a married man getting his end away- not very often.

One quibble I have with this tool is that 25mm bit is too short for the socket but it outperforms many machines like the rabbit on Duraclls. 1.5amp @12 volts pacs quite a punch and lasting power

This essential tool now retired. Game changer is m12BDDXKIT-202c. Comes with a chuck, offset driver and angle driver too. Not forgetting the now 2 amp battery and two speed gearbox, so no more need to carry a drill for those occasions when a chuck is required

Looking forward to taking it or a test drive tomorrow

Festool had that kit 15 or 20 years ago. I think metabo have done a similar copy also.

Got Festool circular saw, cordless (per era machine you are talking about) , jigsaw and vacuum unit. These tools are precision. I think Milwaukee leads the field for compact driver with all the facilities
