Two cables in one chase?

Hi,
Is it permissible to run a phone cable in the same wall chase as a wall lamp cable?.
I was thinking of interference on the phone line.

you would need to run in a seperate tube as it will induce a voltage into the cable and thus giving interferance, 2" gap is sensible

If you don't then you will possibly get a constant mains buzz on your phone line.
That is the practical side

Wiring regulations stipulate a spacing - can't remember off hand but I think it is 50mm.
