Type of 5 lever lock for double timber doors with rebate?

Hi

Can you advise on the best solution to have a 5 lever lock for double timber doors with a rebate (ie. one door closes first with top and bottom up & down bolts, then the other door closes to it, but the edges both overlap like 2 L's by cross section)?

I presume a surface mounted rim lock is my only option, but I just don't like them, would prefer if the lock and keeper was integrated into the door, but part of the lock will surely always show?

You need a rebate kit, be sure to buy a lock whose manufacturer also makes a rebate kit like the ERA one below
