Hi
We have just finished an extension with a screed floor (which we laid loose cable UFH. This joins to what was the existing kitchen floor which I had to raise by 12mm (using ply) to keep both floors the same level and have no threshold/trasition to lay Karndean LVT throughout.
The big issue is that as the kitchen floor is now level to the extension and all cabinets/island are fitted how would install any UFH to the kitchen?
Would anyone have any advice on what would be best practice to fit the UFH so its level with the screed (maybe cut back the ply where the UFH is to go and lay mat with SLC on top or cut grooves and lay loose wire UFH)?
Any help/guidance appreciated & many thanks advance!
