Absolutly NOT.........

You will be creating loads of long term problems etc.........

Do you know if the Stain is Wood Dye or Woodstain ?

im fairly sure its wood stain...why what would the problems be?

Cissing

Knots bleeding through

It's hard to think of a bigger mistake. Use a proper primer.

Known as 'Cessing' in some parts..

You know..the ring marks that form in the paint if you paint over a greasy or very shiny surfaces with emulsion or over an area that has had silicone near it.

Didnt you nick one of those ol painting and decorating manuals when you went to college? lol (i dont know anyone whos ever actually 'bought one!'

I dont think I have come across that, admittidly I have come across window reveals when I have trid to emulsion, where some idiot has used the silicone (clear one) down the side of the pvc, and yes, I suppose I would describe that as cissing, but forunately it doesnt happen often, and there is way round it. :D

You obvisouly do more washing down than I used to lol
