Hello, I have a wooden floor on the ground floor of my house. I wanted to ask advice on installing underfloor insulation.

There's a hatch to get under the floor and about 2-3 feet of space to crawl around in. Would pinning up normal rock-wool loft insulation be a good idea? http://www.diy.com/departments/knauf-ekoroll-loft-insulation-l728m-w1140mm-t100mm/182146_BQ.prd

Condensation wouldn't be a problem would it? as the insulation would be on the underside of the boards (first contact with outside air), just like insulation done in lofts.

And obviously if there were pipes and wiring, I'd just stay a bit clear of them.

Cheers, any advice is welcome!

Yep, don't worry, I have read plenty of those threads and came to the conclusion that 'yes, that's probably fine'.

Just sometimes- it can only take one little concern from someone posting, to have my doubts grow.

I'm so inexperienced with DIY jobs that I'm never sure if my specific circumstance would change part of the process. That's all. Cheers anyway.
