Hi all, first post so be gentle
Were currently (and slowly) redoing a 3 story town house that when purchased had more air leaks than a sieve and more cold spots than a snow leopard! Were finally getting there but have a bit of an issue with our end walls.
The 2 side wall are cavity walls so no issues here however the front and rear ground floor walls are single skin wood and upvc respectivley.
The actual wall panels i can deal with however this leaves a 2 or 3 foot band of freezing cold concrete floor running along these walls! Ideally id like to trench approx 3 feet down along both walls and fit underground insulation to try and make things a bit more comfortable but im not entirely sure how to go about this with respec to water proofing, sourcing waterproof insulation? etc. Any ideas?
Really appreciate the help, best regards
Harry
