Upvc French door - wobbly handle

Evening everyone,

In the recent heatwave our doors have been harder to close, due to expansion.. So we've both been pulling the door pretty hard!..

Result the handle is very wobbly, I'd say about 3-5mm of play...

Can I I can't see a way to tighten this, that being the case, is it trivial to unscrew and replace?

The door was fine, until the heatwave, leaving it open all day, for the sun to bake it. One day I had to close it from the outside, water it with the hose till it contracted!

I've had to do that before for a little old lady when I was on 24 hour call about 15 years ago, door was a quarter of inch to big for the frame, wouldn't even fit in the frame

Even worse, when that didn't work I had to push it shut from outside, jump over the back fence (we couldn't find the gate key, on a hurry) jump over another gate, use our rear access and rub round the block before we went out. Funnily enough I'm a bit fussed if the door is left open to bake in the sun now!

+Reminds me of why records must stored *very* carefully!!
