Use of flex wiring

My electrician has installed an extra two double wall sockets onto an existing 1no. Double socket circuit.
1) should he have used flex wire?
2) should i have a certificate?

Works were not signed off by registered electrician and no evidence of calculation of loading to deem use of particular flex ok either.

should i get this ripped out and start again?

1. Flex is fine - assuming it is the correct size.
Although, flex and solid core in the same terminal is not ideal without ferrules.

2. Yes to certificate, or at least some test results on your receipt.

It might be ok. Have someone have a look at it if you want.
