I have a problem with wet areas jn my garden and have been told that i could reduce the problem by rotavating a ton of pea grave into the ground. the garden area is about 12m by 8m. has anyone done this and does it work?[/u][/list]

This is nonsense. If its a lawn and If the problem is superficial rotovating some sharp sand or horticultural grit in would help but not pea gravel. Aeration followed by top dressing with sharp sand would also help a lawn if its merely compaction problems.

Maybe they meant french drains in pea gravel?
