Vaillant 242E or 282E - How do I tell?

Hi,

My Vaillant may need a new servo valve and the engineer wants to know which model I have.

How can I tell if my model is the 242 or the 282?

The boiler is about 13 years old.

Why can't the "engineer" tell? I'd be a bit doubtful of his competence if he doesn't know where to look for the information.

There's an information sticker, possibly underneath or inside the boiler. Have a look around. Anyway, I'm sure the servo valve will be the same for either model! (are you sure about this "engineer"?)
