Vaillant boiler condensate bottle fallen out and filling up

hi,

i have vaillant ecotec 824 boiler. The condensate bottle at the back has fallen out and i cant seem to get it to screw back in.
I've managed to keep it up with something to hold it at the bottom but i've also found that when the heating is on it over fills and water spills out.

Any ideas how i can get to stay in the correct position?
Also when these bottle over fil does the excess usually overflow out of the white plastic pipe to the ouside of the house?

Turn the boiler of and call am engineer.

It is dangerous to use it whilst the trap is disconnected.
