Vaillant ecotec pro 24 - Hot water not hot enough

the temp reading on the boiler for the hot water was 80c the other day. it is now at 65c. the engineer is coming today. it looks like it could be a sensor problem. i will update the thread when sorted.

All the symptoms point to a blocked plate heat exchanger.

That ought to be unlikely with a "clean system and a Magnaclean" but its still usually the plate!

If it was then it might become a chargeable call as its not the maker's dirt.

Please let us know what the fix turns out to be.
