Me again with my trusty VCW 242 EH!
Well, apart from the dip in DHW temperature that has been noticed lately! I am just wondering if anyone here knows about the DHW thermostats on these?? I have today pulled the wire off the DHW stat (leaving the NTC lead and the other lead on it) Out of my tap comes really nice hot water
When I put the lead back on the burner cuts out for a while and then comes on but is modulated. And we are back to only just hot water from the taps.
Is it possible that there is a fault in the thermostat that is causing the boiler to modulate too soon?? I would soon replace it but they don't seem to come any cheaper than £25/£30 and that's a lot of money if it isn't the problem.
Has the NTC sensor anything to do with this??
