Vailliant Combi Boiler Problems

I have a Vaillant Turbo max combi boiler. When I turn the hot tap on down stairs I will sometimes get hot water other times its cold. I've noiticed that when its cold the boiler has not fired up. In reading a few topics by others I see there is some form of microswitch somewhere on the boiler. Two questions - Where is it and how easy is it to change ?. How come I always get hot water from the taps upstairs do they have a different microswitch.
I'm only guessing its the microswitch - any other ideas would be helpful.

Hello which turbo is it ? Bottom door drop down plastic or hinged metal??

It has a metal hinged door at the bottom

When i turn the tap on - no other lights come on at the boiler

hi common fault on these the diverter has gone .Rubber has gone and does not let arm make on micro switch

Hi mate drop front down divertor is on rhs behind pump either a blur
e or black switch c if arm comes down an makes switch when tap opened
