Veritas R8 panic button (3+9) help

Hello, I am new to this forum. I searched for a similar question but I was not able to find anything related. maybe someone can help me!

I recently installed a R8 with keypad and external Pyronix PIR. I noticed that the panic button (3&9 together on the keypad) is not working.

Should it be programmed in engineering mode? how exactly?

Engineer/ misc option 00 /2 should be lit for panic 3+9 default setting

Thanks sparkymarka, I am not sure what should I check tonight: entering in engineering mode and typing 00? The zone 2 should be on if it is configured correctly?
