viesmann vitodens 100 help needed

i have a vitodeans 100 and when u have it on the hot water it works fine the burner comes on and warms the hot water , but when u have it on the central heting then the burner does not come on and heating system dont work, so hot water works and heating dont , can anybody help and let me know what could be the problem , thanks

Check timeclock and room stat.

If that does not make it work then the motor valve may have failed.

Is it a combi? If it is the type WB1A combi, the diverter valve may be stuck.

Check whether you have a tap or radiator symbol showing. If you have a permanent tap symbol, the domestic flow switch may be stuck on, due to debris. This can be removed, flushed out, and replaced quite easily.
If the tap and rad symbols show up as and when they should, check if the central heating isolator has its red handle pointing back to the wall.

If all that is correct, look at the diverter. Check also if it is in warranty.
 
Sorry that should be: check that the CH flow and return isolation valve handles are pointing back to the wall. If the red flow one is pointing forward, the boiler is shut off from the system with only the black drain-off valve connected to the boiler.
