Vokera Compact 24 combi pressure problems

I have a problem with the pressure in my vokera combi. It was playing up before the summer basically loosing pressure and tripping on low pressure. Checked for leak etc and no signs switched heating off for summer and had no problems so reckon leak option knocked on head. No heating is back on getting same problem. When i set the pressure with the water main it sits fine but when heating is on it rises above 3 bar and safety valve goes, then when it cools down it trips on low pressure again. Also when i noticed it had risen up to 3 bar i open the safety valve to reduce the pressure and it only drained a small amount of water and then stopped with the gauge not really changing, which I think is strange. Any ideas or similar experiences welcomed?
