My boiler gives a sustained whining, ringing, high pitched type of noise when I have downstairs heating on. It stops or reduces a lot if I switch it to upstairs heating. No noise with hot water tap on.
Boiler is only a year old and was just serviced 2 weeks ago (before this started). Any ideas what this might be?
The noise is not very loud but it is very annoying to me at least.
