I have the following problem with a vokera 14 mynute se boiler. I have sparking at eletrode but no ignition. Gas valve solenoid was buzzing so I replaced gas valve with no success. I then replaced the ignition pcb but still no ignition. Looking at the manual points me towards the high limit stat but surely i would not get sparking. I have 20 mbar at gas valve inlet. The original gas valve had water in it following a recent heat exchanger split. Any help much appreciated.

All those kind of things are dealt with by a CORGi un the UK!
Why dont you test the o/h stat with your multimeter?
You dont even need to be CORGI registered in the UK to do that either!
I dont give practical advice on gas matters to non competent people!

can you "see" a spark or "hear" a spark? if you can hear it it might be shorting before it reaches the gas supply.

Are you geting voltage to the main gas solinoid??
if so then the internals of the gas valve are kaput!
