We get quite a few wasps in the garden, quite a few nests, and we do like to BBQ and eat outdoors. I wonder if anyone else might have tried those massive paper kidology nests, which are supposed to intimidate wasps to keep out of the area? They are £1, in the pound shops.

Tried them made no odds. (n)
Wasp traps do work use a mixture of beer and jam melted in hot water, sometimes give it a shot of Robinsons orange squash, they love it!
This sort of thing.

The Price's citronella candles help too when eating out.

PS I reckon the false nests thing is rubbish the will build nests in a loft despite other old nests being there. They ain't stupid no other wasps around let's move in!

Wasps main sensory sense is smell so anything they don’t like will help .
