Waste pipe saddles?

I think that is what they are called.

I bought some 40mm saddles but they hold the pipe about 20mm off the wall. I actually need some to hold the pipe against the wall like the 15mm copper saddles. Builders merchant says they are not available.

Any ideas?

I am not using these saddles for their intended application. If I cannot find any that secure the pipe securely back to the wall I will need to fabricate something. Plastic strap with a hole at each end.
