Hello,

When it rains we seem to have some water trickling down the front of our facia boards in one particular place and causing a drip. Any idea where this is likely to be coming from and if it's something to worry about?

I had a good look when it rained today with the aid of a mirror on a long pole (I don't get on with ladders much). I coulnd't identify the source of the trickle down front of the facia. I could clearly see rain correctly running off the tiles and into the gutter, and the gutter wasn't blocked or overflowing. The trickle down the facia seemed pretty constant and didn't seem to be caused by gusts of wind.

Thanks in advance

Could be a couple of things, a broken/ missing under eave slate or tile is the probable cause.
You need someone up there to check it out and repair.

Normally this happens when the felt, which drapes into the gutter, has rotted.

If so, then the whole run along the eaves may need replacing/repairing
