Good morning,
I been persuaded to buy a water feature for the garden and I'm looking to install it today. It came as a kit and requires two power supplies - one for the 240v pump and one (via a transformer) for the 12v LED's.
The plan is to plug these into existing sockets in the conservatory, drill through the wall, and run the cables along the outside of the conservatory wall to the feature.
The pump cable is HO5RN-F but for "neatness" SWMBO wants the cables is PVC conduit.
Is it ok to run 240v HO5RH-F and 12v in the same 20mm conduit?
The distance is only around 5m or so.
The instructions do not mention RCD protection but for safety I propose to use a plug in RCD socket for the 240v pump. I ssume the same is not necessary for the LV LEDS (the transformer will of course be in the conservatory)?
Thank you
Davey
