Water leaking from the Magnaclean attached to boiler

I opened up my magnaclean at the weekend to give it a clean. Was expecting to see the o ring loose in the lid but didnt. Do you have to unscrew the magnet from the lid in order to get the o-ring out to clean/replace it?

Hi, the O ring was in the top of the lid around the edge. Mine looked like it was part of the lid. I had to use a screwdriver to get it out.

I dont understand why you two want to tempt fate by disturbing the seal!

Best just to remove any dirt collected!
